Today, John’s focus has been exclusively on coaching large enterprises on adopting Agile/Lean methods, an initiative that sparked in 2011. Part of this comes from his innate passion for supporting others on enterprise-wide transformations and part from witnessing firsthand the intrinsicality of Scrum frameworks when it comes to improving business agility. Since then to now, John has become a licensed educator with Scrum.org, has led numerous SAFe 6 classes, and specializes in a number of branching topics. Those namely entail the topics of Professional Agile Leadership, Professional Scrum Foundations, Professional Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Product Owner, Scaled Professional Scrum, and Professional Scrum Facilitation.

Academically, John earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Leadership from NYU Stern School of Business, an MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Economics. Though much of John’s successes come from his educational baselines and dynamic technical delivery experiences, it is also a product of his passion for leveraging the art of agile innovations to secure personal and professional development. Moreover, for his track record of transparent communications that ensure everyone across the pipeline is unambiguous about where they have been, where they currently stand, and where they are heading. Overall, John is a professional who values the integrity of people and processes, is a firm believer that better business and community futures start by instilling positive trajectories today, and understands that the most successful outcomes are the ones that stem from the formation of strong, shared-value teams.

As a team, we practice value driver development and are acutely aware of the “ities” involved in software development – the aspects of user requirements that are continually conflicting against one another, such as

  • Functionality
  • Reliability
  • Understandability

Due to business requirements and technical constraints, we ensure that our clients fully understand the trade-offs and consequences of technical decisions during project design and development.
